In the Community

As chiropractors, our goal is to serve our Carmel, IN community and to provide resources for our patients to get involved in community programs that might benefit them or that they’d like to volunteer with. At Function First, we’re passionate about keeping our community healthy and physically active. We have previously worked with Youths in Motion and Amputees in Motion to give back to our community. We desire to provide these community programs to Carmel, IN residents for health education and community support.

Youth in Motion

This community program aims to engage kids in healthy eating, encouraging physical activity and social engagement. Childhood obesity is an epidemic in this world, and we have done everything in our power to assist children and their parents with strategies to help combat this milestone.

Amputees in Motion

This community program was designed to support amputees and their families, whether young, old, veterans, or civilians. The program encouraged physical and social engagement in a safe environment, allowing individuals to partake in activities they could not engage in independently. Whether it was golfing, hunting, snow skiing, or a friendly game of basketball, all had fun! It was a community program very near and dear to our hearts, and we hope to bring this to our new home in Carmel, IN.
